What you can do.
People in context
Record names, dates, places, notes, and different kinds of parentage and unions. Add a parent, sibling, spouse, or child directly from a person’s page.
Photos and portraits
Add, caption, reorder, and choose a primary photograph. Frame each person’s portrait separately, even when several people share one group photograph.
Explore your connections
Pan and expand an hourglass family chart, browse life timelines, and set yourself as ‘me’ to see relationship names and the connection step by step.
Research and reconcile
Find data-quality issues, clip a branch into a new tree, merge GEDCOM trees, and review conflicting edits field by field.
Reports worth keeping
Create descendant and ancestor reports, family group sheets, and pedigree wall charts. Choose privacy options for living people and export PDF, HTML, CSV, or .umsg; wall charts also support PNG and SVG.

Usrah can run as a web app through Takhzeen integration, with no desktop installation needed for visitors. Takhzeen hosts the Flutter web build and provides accounts, tree storage, photographs, and the application’s server functions.
Connect desktop and mobile Usrah to the same Takhzeen database to access your server trees across devices. To publish the browser app, set up Usrah’s database schema and host its web build in Takhzeen.

A few steps to get going.
- Open a GEDCOM or .umsg file, create a tree, or connect to your Takhzeen server.
- Add people, relationships, and photographs; explore the chart and timelines.
- Save your work, export a chart, or preview and generate a family report.
Local files work without a server. Connected trees save automatically and check for others’ changes every 30 seconds. Tree-sharing permissions are still in progress; the sharing screen is not yet available.
